J.K. Adams Lovely Maple Wood Rolling Pin, 18-inches by 1-3/4-inches by 1/4-inches, Off-White

I love this rolling pin! I had been eyeing it for a while and regret not buying it sooner. I have several other rolling pins that work well, but I have always had a hard time getting large batches of cutout cookie dough a consistent thickness. Our family just made Christmas cutouts and every cookie is exactly 1/4 inch thick, so they baked perfectly. It was great for the kids to use as well, since they sometimes roll the dough too thin, making them difficult to lift and causing them to burn when baking with thicker cookies. Definitely recommend!

Pros: It does exactly what its supposed to do. It creates a 1/4 inch thickness when rolling out dough. Its very high quality. The gauge marking on the end is an elegant touch. I bet the 1/8 inch version would make great cracker crust type pizza dough.Cons: I bought the 24 inch version. Not as easy to store so I just ordered the 18 inch version to see if thats a more convenient option.I recommend and find it a big help and a great value. It will last a lifetime. My friends who baked with me liked it too.

I wish I bought this sooner! I have a cookie business and have been rolling dough for years but this rolling pin has made it so much easier and less frustrating! No pieces popping off or plastic rings cracking and it is very wide so I can do a lot of dough at once. Highly recommend!
